Autism's Definition(s)

   Hi everyone, I'm Kat, and this blog is my way of informing people of how Autism/Asperger's Syndrome has/is affected/affecting my life , and What I think about Autism/Asperger's. (Please Note: I do have Autism/Asperger's Syndrome, even though it may not seem like it.)

Autism By definition means: 

noun

1. a mental condition, present from early childhood, characterized by difficulty in communicating and forming relationships with other people and in using language and abstract concepts.

2. Asperger's Syndrome by definition means:

      a developmental disorder related to autism and characterized by higher than average intellectual ability coupled with impaired social skills and restrictive, repetitive patterns of interest and activities.

   3. Autism, does this really make those like me different? How are we different? I know we function differently, but we're still PEOPLE, Like everyone else.

Why? I don't know. I guess it's cause we're like a puzzle.
